DEAR GUESTS! DUE TO UNSTABLE INTERNET, PLEASE BRING CASH WHEN VISITING THE SÁMI VILLAGE!
CHECK-IN FOR GUESTS AT 13:45
FROM 01.09.25 CHECK-OUT AT 10:30

The Sámi are a small indigenous people of the Kola Peninsula. Today there are only about 1,500 Sámi people, most of whom live in the Lovozero District.

We invite you to individual, family and group excursions! The program includes a historical introduction, an introduction to Sámi everyday life, meeting the group on the settlement territory, raising the national flag, traditional food in a Sámi dwelling, a tour around the settlement and its animals, hand-feeding reindeer and taking photos with them, as well as traditional games such as “Tug of the Pole”, “Reindeer and Wolves” and others.

Guests can enjoy banana rides behind a snowmobile, sledding down the hill in winter and driving quad bikes around the territory in summer. There is also a tea break with stories about the Sámi people, their culture and history, answers to guests’ questions, photos in traditional national clothing, and an opportunity to purchase amulets and handmade crafts. The excursion lasts 3 hours.

The Sámi Village offers: accommodation in a guest house; bathhouse and sauna; an introduction to the Sámi village, including chums and kuvaksas; enchanted idols; the animal world of the Sámi — reindeer, arctic foxes, foxes, huskies, raccoon and rabbits; a visit to the ritual lake in summer; an entertainment program; snowmobile and reindeer-sleigh rides in winter and quad-bike rides in summer; Sámi Village cuisine; photos in national clothing; the purchase of enchanted amulets and talismans; and winter hill rides.

Dear guests! To avoid misunderstandings, we kindly ask you to leave your pets at home.

ENTRY WITH YOUR OWN ANIMALS IS PROHIBITED!
There are many animals in the Sámi Village — rabbits, dogs and reindeer — and they have long become accustomed to one another. A new animal can cause stress and unpredictable consequences. For your safety and the safety of your pet, we strongly recommend leaving your four-legged friends at home when visiting the Sámi Village. Thank you for your understanding!
